Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed in Los Angeles, California on November 18th 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude to play sports while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting potential at the time. After her first audition she was ranked within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix completed her high school education and was signed to an agreement to Adidas. In 2004 she began her studies at the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. Felix became the world's youngest winner in the 200m at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She was consistently within the top three places of every event.
